Sang’alo Institute of Science and Technology (SIST) is a public institute of Technology in Kenya. SIST is situated in Bungoma County, 7KM South East of Bungoma town on the Bungoma-Nambacha-Kakamega road. SIST promotes a cooperative, positive, and safe learning environment which ensures that the education of each student is the heart of the colleges' operation. Through partnerships with family and community, we enable students to become responsible citizens who are productive members of the global community, committed to excellence and life-long learning.
SIST is in a serene environment that makes it an ideal place for learning. Students pursue courses in either Technical or Business Programmes. There are extensive opportunities for sport and recreation, supported by a team of staff who provide activities to suit all ability levels at the college. Tournaments and leagues take place throughout the year. There are outdoors sports facilities for football, basketball, hockey, rugby, volleyball, athletics etc. The focus is on sport for both recreation and excellence.
Sang’alo Institute of Science & Technology (SIST) is a public institute of Technology in Kenya. The name Sang’alo is derived from a Bukusu local language word “Sangala” meaning happiness. SIST is situated in Bungoma County, Bungoma South Sub County, and Seven (7) Kilometers South East of Bungoma town on the Bungoma-Nambacha-Kakamega road. It lies on 550 acres land. It begun by offering purely agricultural courses but with time incorporated other Technical and Business courses. Sang’alo Institute is in an off-town environment that is very good for learning.
