Building Technology

Building  and Civil Engineering department began by recruiting students pursuing building construction and civil engineering. It later admitted students in Quantity surveying. The courses offered were at diploma level in the Technical Education Programme (TEP) that took 3 years for the trainees to sit Kenya National Examination Council examinations.  Later on , we started offering certificate in Masonery, a 2 year programme (KNEC examinable) The department expanded and introduced certificate in Land Survey. Currently, the department has admitted syudents at Diploma level in Land Survey ( 1st batch of students will sit KNEC examination in July 2017). The current student population stands at 290 as by September 2016.The department has a total of 14 Lecturers . The following courses are offered :

1 CIVIL ENGINEERING  (DIPLOMA– KNEC )

2. BUILDING TECHNOLOGY(CERTIFICATE / DIPLOMA– KNEC )

3. QUANTITY SURVEY(DIPLOMA –TEP)

4. LAND SURVEY (CERTIFICATE / DIPLOMA—TEP)
